Ten Glorious Days of Obama Recession

Of Course

Of course, the left will just scream that it's really George Bush's failed economy and CommieObami is innocent.

It's not Obama's recession

yet. WTH, I have to say it WAS Bush's failed economy that brought this on in the first place, and I'm not a lib. What did you think was going to happen when you pay for two wars, lower taxes, and then increase spending more than the dems ever had at the same time? I am all for going into Afghanistan and Iraq and cleaning house. I'm all for tax cuts on top of that. With those two things though, you HAVE to cut spending on other things. Bush never vetoed one spending bill from the GOP that was filled with pork after pork since the GOP lost their way. I do think Obama and the dems are going to turn the recession into a depression though. More borrowing in this stimulus, much of it again for more pork. You're right about one thing though, the MSM and the dems will blame the economy on Bush four years from now, no matter how much worse Obama will make it.

I've Gotta Say, WTH and Jesse

that you speak the truth in what you say. But I'm right too because this is Obama's recession to lord over and it is the economy that he stood on the hill and proclaimed to the huddled masses that he would fix. And the worshipping masses chanted "obamaaa, obamaaa, obamaaa" and "yes we can, yes we can, yes we can". Now with control of Congress, and the rino's in Congress and access to the the lofty brain power of the liberal elite, Obama has the power to do what he wants. He has unfettered money power as evidenced by his $800,000,000,000.00 stimulus pork package. He has the perpetrators of the subprime Fannie/Freddie fiasco Barney Frank and Chris Dodd in charge of key money committes in Congress. He has tax dodger Geithner in charge of the Treasury. That's unrestrained appointment power. With that kind of power, it is safe to say that this is now the Glorious Obama Recession and that is what we should call it without reservation or accommodation. Let the left try to explain their way out of it. Eventually the people will tell them to just shut up about Bush and fix it. This is Day 10 and counting.

Excellent Discussion

and the visual is priceless, Stefano.

My contribution to the discussion: There is plenty of blame to go around, so let me add another party -- we the people who keep putting these same people back in office. In effect, we have hired professional politicians and let them run amok.

George Bush made mistakes,

granted; some of them serious. But Obama, an unacomplished novice, with a clouded past, questionable alliances with radicals, questionable citizenship, coming straight out of Chicago's political cesspool, left no stone unturned to "buy" our Whitehouse. In the package he purchased, with partially dirty money from enemy countries, was this blooming recession. So, in my opinion, he owns it along with everything else in the package. With the clock ticking away, all the garbage in his "stimulus" package, the change we can expect is a depression; coming soon to a neighborhood near us.

Obama is not going to lay the blame, for whatever havoc he creates, at the feet of George Bush; not with this citizen. He purchased the problem, therefore it is his.

Blame Bush !!!!

For all of the Democratic squawking about Bush's failed economy Obama, Pelosi and the rest couldn't be happier. "Bush's failed economy offers them the chance to spend billions and remold the country in their image. And if the spending bailout only makes things worse....BLAME BUSH ! It's win- win for the Dems.

I Like the Clock!

O'Vomit will deny it; but in actuality he is helping "power" the clock.

His inexperience will be his own suicide weapon. I just hope the rest of the country doesn't "buy the farm" with him.

Oh God - I love it

I will use this somewhere

Ol Jesse

Still blaming Bush AND claiming to be a Conservative,Jesse do you even know what a Conservative is?

Obama and his Congress were

driving..they took the fork in the road that said Depression and Oppression instead of Ressssssession.

I don't think

they're going to stop it. I believe it's going to get worse and worse for years to come. I'm trying to figure out how to survive the upcoming economic catastrophe.

nice countup clock

Of course now that we are in the Age of Obama, the economy should be fixed any second, right after he figures out how to lower the oceans and stop gore-bull warming. Oh wait, there is no warming, gee he fixed that already!

It must be nice to live in your own version of reality where presidents are imbued with magical powers. Did we elect Obama, or Harry Potter?

Pass the bong, I think I'm beginning to understand liberal "logic".

Blame all around

I have to say I understand the blame goes all the way around. And being in the real estate business for the last few years (no longer), I give a lot of blame to banks, brokers, real estate agents and the appraisers. Please take a bow now.

Also, there was big trouble brewing in 2004 and 2005 with Sallie Mae. Yes, the spawn child with student loans. They bundled the garbage and sold it to BofA, Chase, and private investors. Sounds like the toxic mortgages. Yeah!

I see that things started years ago. I also have to give some blame to Americans for not taking responsibility and over buying houses, cars, and credit. But then again, banks let them do it.

Jackpine

Age of Obama??

LOL....take the song "Age of Aquarius" and switch out Aquarius for Obama, and it works. I mean, you have to stretch out Obama a bit to make it work in the song, but otherwise, it fits.

LOL...I think I might post that on my blog

Now It`s Been 14 Days!

Great idea, Stefano! Love the clock and all the comments make sense. Particularly agree with your responses to WTH and Jesse. Well said! I remember when the Dow was 14,000 and people were "flipping houses". Subprime and interest only loans to people who did not read their contracts. Duh, in 2 years you have a $5,000 balloon payment .... Good to see you have the clock as part of your featured posts. It will be fun to check on it from "time to time"!
