Gar, I had a similiar idea
In my blog "The Future-Seeing Device" where I predict what life will be like after liberals completely take over, one of the requirements was: "Citizens are required to skip every other breath (to reduce CO2 emissions) and to release flatulence only in their own homes (or be fitted with a personal fart-scrubber)."

That's just plain evil, Gar
But darned funny.
You have to let us know if, and how many, Gorons sign up.
I like your version of "carbon credits" as a sure draw for the committed (or those who should be).
--[W]e can reduce the human breathing pollution by the amount equal to one full person's breathing allotment for a full day.--
Priceless!

Dr Pete, that knock at the door would be PETA. Let the dog exhale long enough to bite 'em.

Had No Clue!!!
Wow, Gar! We did everything we could to help the environment today! We DROVE to the store and bought our rations, alcohol included, that were placed in several PLASTIC bags. My husband made a ham sandwich for his slunch and the refrigerator door remained open THE WHOLE TIME because he did not close it!
We also thought about using the toaster, clothes dryer, hair dryer and microwave at the same time but we couldn`t garner the personal energy (for the consequences of blown fuses)! It is the thought that counts, isn`t it? Woids to live by! Great, fun post!

How can one forget?
Last year I had open up a can of paint/varnish stripper (the good schtuff) without a resperator on, after regaining consciousness I could remember that moment when I was near coscious, but was incapable of reason nor intelligent thought, it was as if I had an instant flashback to the seventies. You know the old saying Gar, Liberalism is bliss...
Maybe we could talk ALL Washington liberals into saving the planet by hlding their breath say 4 minutes? Just think of what that could do for the planet.

Why do people keep making these stupid days to do something they should be doing all the time? Shouldn't you always be kind to the environment?
