Crime Doesn't Pay...For Some.

There needs to be a lot more people than Bernie Madoff going to prison over what he engineered. I simply don't believe he could have pulled this scheme off without any of his employees being involved.

The politicians who live high on the hog while stealing from the people and committing adultery should suffer for their transgressions.

Interesting take...you could be right about other people being in on the scheme...as to the politicians abusing their positions on the back of the taxpayers, I totally agree with your assessment.

I am sorry, but there is no way this guy pulled this off by himself. They were showing the reports that they sent out. I have to give kudos, even though I know it is wrong, but someone did some great reports here.

Now to me Madoff should spend the rest of his life in jail. I am tired of hearing that this is a white collar crime. This had such an impact on so many people and people around them.

Remember the S&L thing? There were people who lost everything and took their own lives. It was terrible. Those people should have spent the rest of their lives in jail, but they didn't.

By the way, did you hear about this one? This is a great couple. He is facing 300 years for his scheme.

I agree, but you know how it goes...they wind up getting out and going back to the life of luxury.
