As a former adult probation officer who worked with sex offenders for 10 years, I can assure you that many more predatory sex offenders walk the streets than are in prison. Check the stats for Dallas County sometime. If the citizens really knew what was going on, they would through the district Judges out on their ears.
Dallas is no small town and I think, typical of the easy sentencing practices going on now due to prison overcrowding and finances. Wake up people, it's going on everywhere in this country!
