A way out of the Obama-Wright Conflict

No Way

"Some leading candidates would be Jesse Jackson Jr. (Congressman, IL), Deval Patrick (Governor, Massachusetts) and Harold Ford (former Congressman, Tennessee)"

Hilly needs to stay away from the same grievance- pedaling, anti-American, victimization hogwash which has destroyed Obama and is pushed by all these other geniuses. If she wants to beat McLame she will have to disassociate herself with the ideology of black racism. She can still crush McLame with a low black turnout.

Way

“… hogwash … pushed by all these other geniuses.” Not many Blacks or Whites are racists, especially these three Blacks.

“... she will have to disassociate herself with the ideology of black racism.” She already has and has not. She straddles every issue. Nothing has to change here, or will.

“(Hillary can win) … with a low black turnout.” I doubt if she can, but anything is possible. It may depend on how well McCain campaigns. Her chances would be better with a high Black turnout. She might lose regardless.

My belief is that Hillary and any white VP will lose to McCain and his VP. I think we’re also seeing the rejection of Obama by part of the Black community being signaled by Wright.

I’m making this case in advance of new polls on the Obama-Wright affair and the final primary elections, but my sense is that Obama is doomed, by his own vacillation and disingenuousness, by the actions of the Clinton camp, and maybe by the Black Church itself.
