lumping us in with your constituents
I think the Democrat needs to evaluate his constituets charity habits before he point his fingers. Maybe, just maybe I'd give more to his voters if he and his ilk eased up on my tax liability. You can only squeeze so much out of the dwindling numbers of federal tax payers....His pals are the least likely to be charitable and mine are the most likely. They have a greed and honesty problem on the left and need offset that by blaming those that aren't selfish. The problem with this dem and many dems is they are lacking in values but not lacking in their needs and wants. I have a hard time giving more to people that already are on free ride. Far too many have been given the gift of no taxes and the truly needy are the ones losing because my charity ends up in some middle class guys house that know the system. Our politicians have hidden the truly needy by givin g half the county a get out of fed taxes free card. Imagine the pile of cash if everyone that isn't paying but could pay something instead of say buying beer a cigs for a year. Even 20 buck from each of the free loaders would amount to hundreds of millions for the truly needy. Add 10 million back to the tax roles times 20 bucks equals lots of money on top of the thousands per tax payer the gov gets we are talking real money. Most of us were low income at one time or another...in the old days we still payed something. I even paid fed taxes in college 200 years ago.
