I am about to commit a TH heresy. Liberalism IS winning. I know your supposed to say that here but there it is. McCain may win this election but not because he is a republican with strong republican positions. No, it is because he is a republican with strong liberal positions.

That is not an example of liberalism losing in my experience, rather it is the continuing advance of liberalism creeping into the republican party.

there will be conservatives actively involved in policing mr. mccain's presidency. they will have some say. what role will they have with hillbama, you know? i look at it like it's a handgun. mccain is a legally licensed pistol kept in the home of a responsible firearm owner; hillbama is an unlicensed six-shooter just waiting to go off after the sun goes down.
