I have been saying the same things on my blog for some time. You did miss the fact that "speculators" actually serve a valuable function of leveling out price fluctuations, and the only reason they are buying now is BECAUSE prices are rising, for reasons independent of speculation.

But other than that, you are absolutely correct.

Glad to see someone else speaking sense on all this oil rhetoric.
