find it quite humorous yet sad when I hear people musing about how good things were in the Soviet Union. I knew two engineers I worked with in the early 80s that had defected from the USSR. Their tales of adjustment to life in the US were classic. They told me once how one of them went to buy shoes, he bought the wrong size not realizing that HERE you can choose the right size shoes. Or when one of them bought 16 different kinds of bread because he had never seen so many different kinds before. Or the time they got pulled over for speeding and one of them wet his pants because he was afraid of what would happen to him for speeding. Libs just don't seem to understand, IT SUCKED being in the USSR!
