I agree with most of what you have laid out about the early voting. I'm of the opinion that if you can't find the time to vote on election day (if you're not out of the district for some reason) do we really want that person to vote?

I have friends that would not vote if they were given an entire week with which to go to the polls. It seems to me to be an opening for fraud. If you really care and won't be around on election day, you can get an absentee ballot. Voting is not brain surgery.
