I caught that story and noticed that she had that gull long before it was on the endangered species list...I remember wondering why wasn't it covered by a grandfather clause or whatever. The saddest part is that we have people offended by such things as a stuffed gull, walrus skull, etc...they need to get a life. PETA is probaly breaking out the bubbly to toast the apprehension of these criminal thugs.

More importantly, the Constitution prohibits ex-post-facto laws, so the walrus head wasn't illegal anyway!
