Outstanding!! I remember some of this stuff well. To me some of those issues were scary at that time...then I too grew up and relized I can not control these things. Now here we are today, and it would almost be comical with all that is going on but... I have let go being furious with our government, life is too short, and again I am not in control.Can not worry about what may or may not happen, just focus on today.

Sure do remember all these events like they were yesterday, Kev! Good blog! As an example, back in the 80s/90s, in Washington state, teachers were required/forced to stop giving grades such as A, to exceptional students who worked hard. No, no, no, no, no. These honor students were rewarded with Satisfactory so not to discourage other students who did NOT work hard!

Jim has it nailed with his comment re "Logan`s Run". Jason has a good point to keep it in the present and live for today. Remember that tune? "Lalalalalala, live for today! Don`t you worry, about tomorrow, live for today!" Who sang that? Hmmmmm. Off to Google to find out!
