Why Aren't the Feminists Outraged?

That may be because....
...more people do not like spinach than "unwanted pregnancies." Earth worshippers will not accept tainted produce, unlike morals.
It should have read: "..all spinach was immediately [aborted] from grocery stores everywhere."

Spinach is not a feminist cause
not all deaths are equal. If you die from spinach that is horrible. If you die in defense of a feminist empowering poison, hey thats the breaks, stuff happens, you are a martyr to the cause,yada yada yada...

"Explain that"! I heard Rush say that abortion is the sacrament of the Left's religion...maybe that explains it...

Yep, it only proves beyond any doubt that those on the left DO NOT care about women when it comes to the abortion issue....they care about killing unborn people at all costs. I don't get it, but it's true.
Sheila, I think that was a fair observation by Rush. That same sentiment is a large premise in Ann Coulter's new book "Godless". It is a good read if you like her style.

Feminism's Agenda
The Feminist Agenda would be about spinach if a man said that women ought not eat it.

HAHAHAHA! You are probably right about that! But don't you think they seem to have a special place in their hearts for killing the unborn?

I remember seeing a little sign that read something like, "Don't confuse me with facts, my mind is made up!" Might that explain it?

That could very well explain the reason they refuse an intelligent debate on the subject. I'm not sure anything, other than man's fallen state, can really explain the blind commitment to killing unborn people.

Let's compare...
Big Tobacco markets to young adults and teenagers. The chances of a young woman dropping dead or incurring serious injury from smoking a cigarette are practically nil. The FDA wants to shut the industry down.
Big Birth Control markets to young adults and teenagers. The chances of a young woman dropping dead or incurring serious injury from taking one of the many products available are much greater and documented. The FDA has shown zero interest in shutting this industry down.
I'm not sure I have a point here, but just thought I'd throw this out there.

You more than have a point and a very good one at that. Your example and comparison is way better than the Ecoli comparison and is exactly the point I was trying to make. It is apparently not about safety with these folks. I just can't figure out what drives these ludicrous laws. Does it all come down to money or is it more of a socially driven agenda?

I worked for about 10 years or so in public health research. I would manage studies for the CDC, EPA, FDA, etc and university researchers. To answer your question...It definitely comes down to a social agenda. The people I worked with and for were liberal crusaders. Money factors in when it's the wrong people making it:
Tobacco companies = bad;
Pharmaceutical companies = bad.
Pharmaceutical companies making birth control = not a problem;
Health researchers pulling in six figure incomes off of government contracts = absolutely not a problem.

Awesome info. An insiders expertise is always enlightening. I had always thought it seemed to be a social agenda but felt like a conspiracy theorist saying so. But, I guess it isn't all that big of a mystery when I remember that today’s industry leaders were yesterdays government run school's and higher education graduates.
