What Were the French Thinking?

Too Funny!

"France, the epitome of leftist utopian thinking, has been a shining light in their embrace of the concept of total surrender to Islamic terrorists, massive interference in business by the government, disdain for anything American, and their tendency to eschew even the most basic of hygiene products."

Classic!

I knew it was that damn global warming...when are we ever gonna learn?!?

What about the cheese?

Does this mean that brie is back?

More conservative misunderstandings

The so-called election of M Sarkozy indicates how far off were those "freedom fryers" and haters of all things sophisticated enough to be French. This one-off anomaly does not fool those of us in the Left who are unequivocally allied with the proudly anti-american frog faces.

I personally recall with satisfaction the number of verbal pies that M Chirac was able to toss in the direction of Mr Bush - proving that just because we are for freedom, prosperity and the European dream, does not mean we have to take a stand for anything or send any of beloved sons and daughters to their almost certain deaths.

Who was that anglophile idiot who said "if you don't stand for something you'll fall for anything?" Certainly not M Chirac!

Do not lose hope

my friends. The French ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory is legendary. We retain our trusted tactics of arrogance, sloth and wishful thinking as we deal with this setback which can only be temporary.
