"McMILF 2008"

Hahahaha, guys!

A collaborative effort! How droll!

Boy, SC, that Obama sticker on your car really lit your fire, didn't it?

McMILF?????

You think McCain's a MILF????

Gaaahhh..kaf,kaf..... (((((gag)))))))))))

Anyhoo... you guys the next Woodward and Bernstein, or what?

It's a big day in blogosphere!

The long awaited collaboration was great! HaHaHa!

How much did this study cost the taxpayers?

BTW, Put me down for an MP or an O classification. I place long term stickers on glass and short term on bumpers.

Good job, guys!

Toooo Good!

I needed this...Great job guys. Got any 2012 crap for sale?

Liberals

also enjoy proclaiming their looooosership for long periods. Notice how many Kerry/Edwards stickers are still on vehicles.

Where did y'all come up with this crazy idea?

On the blog roll, I saw constitutional jellybean, and thought for a sec that y'all were referring to me.

Good for a laugh

Especially when really, all you did was sort of scientifically prove what we all know anyway.

As far as McMILF is concerned: Brian, I'm pretty sure that isn't referring to McCain and is simply a convenience.

But it is clever.

Too bad that I wouldn't dare put it on my glass; I am a married man, after all.

Great job.

Brian....

You are the 2nd one not to get that bumper sticker. Possibly that's why nobody bought the sticker. (It couldn't be because people don't want "MILF" on their bumpers...naaa.)

Mc + MILF = ticket

Anyway, next time J gets to pick the title.

SGT

Interesting (making a furrowed brow to look serious)......Hmmmm. (Do I sound like a bonafide sociologist? I am now, you know, cuz I did a "study")

I never figured you for a "sticker sort" of a guy.

Nee

I think 2012 crap will be for sale tomorrow. Hang loose.

Crawfish!

you're so right about the protracted loosership. We've already considered how to do a followup study looking at how long it takes to see the lamenting stickers, like "Don't blame me" (if McCranky pulls this out heroically).

We actually considered posting something together since we knew TH could do this sort of deal, so we set up the page long time ago. But we couldn't figure out on best first post. Then,...

Jimmy was actually passing through my state, and we met for some grub....we saw some bumper stickers, and I said, "Hey, I'm thinking of doing something...." and he said, "Want some help?" And it was born.

Paulie....

isn't that what studies do anyway? Prove what we already know? Only this one didn't cost the tax-payer anything!! And what great "water cooler" conversation.

I promise you will all think about this when you see bumper stickers on autos. You'll never be able to get it out of your mind now.

I assume this study

was publically funded? we can only hope.

Outside of that, though, my assumption is that a lot of the Dems are young or do not have the type of money that their Republican counter-parts do. Thus, the Republicans would have nicer vehicles and would car emore about the long-term status of them. Libs, on the other hand, drive a POS - either given to their parents or all they could afford - and just plaster it without any thought of consequence.

Certainly there are liberals with money who put the stickers on the glass, or Republicans who are poor and drive beat-up pickups. In a similar sense, the poor Republicans are more likely to live in areas with lower income requirements (rural Tennessee, for example), whereas the poor libs live in urban areas with high income areas (NYC, DC, Philly, Chicago).

I don't even remember what the original point of this was.

Chris

You must have a fever....

I showed you photos of some beautiful cars with lib stickers all over the paint.

A nice white toyota camry comes to mind, with two stickers on the paint of the trunk.

Completely refutes your "rich lib/poor lib & glass/paint" line.

Chris...

...that's total conjecture. Sounds to Me like You need a study.

"All Property is Theft"

And as such, it matters not what you do with it.

That's my 2.6 cents (adjusted for inflation) anyway. Liberals simply don't view their vehicles as personal property, something with some value now or in the future, or as something that belongs to them and should be guarded as such. They are a means to make a statement.

You probably won't see a "Greenpeace" sticker covering up that Prius logo...

Yeah, Brian....

...(I'm very tempted to run with "Deepthroat.")

Swamp Jelly....

...just doesn't sound all that appealing.

Redhead...

...You better get it all out now before obama is elected, because then You won't have even two cents to rub together.

Red....

You saw the Prius then. I thought that was a particular stroke of luck, a double whammie...sorta.

I think you're onto something there, too, about how everything for them is a means to make a statement. Their hair, their bodies, their cars, their clothes. Definitely.

J & Brian....

simmer down.....simmer down....

re: Figure 8 and nee

Spread Good Vibes?

Umm..I think that person is going to be trading up that sticker if Obama wins to a Spread the Wealth sticker

And I LOVE McMILF! haha too funny!

great blog! I enjoyed it thorougly!

Nee: I'll be making some 2012 stuff within the week. I'll put a blog up about it by the weekend I'm sure!

a bit of time on your hands, eh?

That was thoroughly funny. The wife and I were behind an EXTREME! RAD! off road vehicle of some sort that had the "Surf or Die" and skeleton stickers on it and the ski-boarding logos. Lots of them. She said, "ever notice that the people with lots of stickers on their cars are one of 3 types: animal lovers who don't like people; young Rad Sporting types, or middle aged liberals who are still working on their masters?"

can't wait for the next study:)

Since Jimmy can't post at

JC's Bar & Grille anymore.......

Anyways, the liberal union schoolteachers who lived two doors down moved out last month. The new vehicle in the driveway was one of those boxy Scion's that look like a Honda Element. I thought, "Aw crud, more liberals..." until they said that they appreciated my MANION for Congress yard sign. Conservatives driving a Scion?

Crawfish...

I have a Scion.....not that ugly boxy one. The smaller one.
Haha.

Excellent post

A statistically valid study, followed by an anthropological analysis at the end.

Thank you, Greg....

...it was a lot of fun collaborating.

Thanks Greg!

Appreciate the compliment.
