You are emphatic in your love of country and fear for her future, as I and a lot of others, as you know. We all have experienced the helplessness of individual inability to affect any action, it would seem. The only recourse we have is the one which worked very well last summer in the beating down and defeat of the "amnesty" bill even before it was voted on by the house. The sheer enormity of individual shouts of disapproval in their faces demanded they react or suffer possible visitation by that multitude of constituency.
Let's ramp up our number and frequency of posts on a specific item of discontent, posting it twice per month or in different aspects even more. Don't give them time to rest. Keep them worried.
Also, promote the vote for non re-election of all incumbent senators and representitives and, instead, the vote for the most un-experienced, non-lawyer candidate on the ballot. Vote for the airline pilot who thinks he has a better idea, or the owner of the bowling alley who has learned to judge character, or the housewife who is sick of never having the required capital investments needed to pay the grocery bill. These are the ones who would do the right, and logical things needed in this ailing governmental infection.
Just a couple suggestions for a fellow cyclist.
Thanks for being who you are.
