"W" The One Who Kept Us Safe

Edward

Great minds think alike! Amazingly we chose the same topic today.

Not nearly enough of us have spoken up on how well "W" has done these past 7 years. My post is titled "2655" referring to the number of days that have passed since our country was last attacked.

I agree...

...you can always tell a lefty or Rino when they try to blame the Iraq War, the GWOT or the WND as the reason for "W"'w low approval ratings. Nothing could be further from the truth. He most definitely deserves credit. Possibly not waging the war as aggressively as I'd like but can you imagine how Algore would have done it? We'd still be negotiating through the UN. I voted for "W" 4 times as I live in TX. My problem w/him has to do with his allowance of our sourthern border to be seriously breeched and our sovereignty terribly compromised. And I remain bitter over the jailing of our valiant Border Patrol Agents, Ramos and Compean.
That being said, Bush is light years ahead of the best that the democrat party has to offer. That doesn't let him (or the GOP) off the hook, however. Its not just Bush but a collection of Transnational Progressives (internationalist) that have hijacked the GOP. DD

Security and the MSM

Edward:
YOu are right on target. The components found in Iraq were those of the phrase "WMDs". Thank God, George W went in when we did. Actual components found, if assembled and placed in the hands of the terrorists he was fiends with, could have created a nightmare.
What is amazing is for 12 years the sainted United nations screamed WMDs...WMDs at Iraq..we went in and handled the problem..after all the shenanigans by Hussein...and what happens...no credit is given for such courage!!
Thanks to our troops and George W.

Right on EJR

I too am sick and tired of the left's never ending Bush Bashing. Their real sore spot is poor sportsmanship. they ae still angry that Bush won and in their sight stole the presidency from Gore. That's nonsense of course, but libs never never get over what they percieve as a slight. They will pout and act out forever. Spoiled brats, the lot of 'em.

Once Obama gets in and tries to deal with our enemies with a sit down of tea and crumpets, and we are again attacked, MAYBE they will come to their senses.......maybe not. I know this is ugly, but if, or when, we are attacked again, I hope all the Bush Bashers are sitting in the middle of the bulls-eye. It would serve the ingrates right.

Good post.

Stop by my place and consider joining our THBloggers contact list. Would love to have you.

the fact that he kept us safe...

.. was what allowed the lefties to acttck him constantly.

To the far left, Islamic terrorists are less dangerous than a logger with a chain saw. They have the luxury of having that view because Bush kept the terrorists from blowing them up.

Talk about being a victim of your own success!

BDS will soon morph into ODS, because the phreaks need someone to blame everything on.
After bush is gone, only te truly edemented will be able to blame him for anything.

Great Post!
