Had Bush Said It...

I love our President but everytime he talks I cringe. Both candidates for President have made many gaffes with McCain saying just yesterday that Iraq and Pakistan border each other. Of course, if any of us where on television 24/7 we'd make just as silly mistakes that Obama and McCain are more than happy to provide.

I have to disagree. Bush has in the past been a font of misstatements, but of late the newcomer from Chicago has been out pacing him.

You are right that McCain is no Cicero either, but I would hardly place him in a category with the other two. And I can't think of anything he has said that is half as foolish as some of Obama's statements.

As far as your explanation that 24 hour coverage means everyone makes flubs, you are, of course, correct. But as the media and others have chosen to use such signs as proof Bush is an idiot, I am just asking they apply the same standard to Obama. And by that standard Obama is some sort of sub-cretin.
