A lovely day to You too !
I don't remember the details but wasn't it about a year or so ago that People Magazine did a clothes advertisement thing for "p*mp-phants" and "ho-phants?" Hhmm. Without getting into comments about trashy dress styles of wanna be ghetto look-a-likes. Perhaps some time spent in a ghetto or housing project may change someone's idea of what is cool eh. Anyways, what amuses me the most (now I refer to the adults that carry this style) is how these people dress this way, act the way, end up being that way. And turn around and tell you that they Demand "RESPECT!" Ha, ha, ha. Sorry, I have lived in a number of inner cities and still find it funny. I bid you good wishes and luck in bringing up your daughter to see the value to dress for respect.

And another lovely day to you!
Boy, you're not kidding...
I'm a pharmacist in Niagara Falls, NY. I hate to say it, but the city is a a dump. If you want to see the Falls, you have to pass by drug houses and boarded-up storefronts. Oh, but there is a casino (which is probably why so many businesses and restaurants have gone under). People are trying to "strike it rich" at the casino, but they are impoverishing themselves even more.
A couple of weeks ago, a man was ga-zillions of dollars in debt to the casino, and he blew his brains out. Nice.
There was a guy who was bragging about how he loved going to the casino to gamble, he loved gambling, yada yada. Guess what type of insurance he has? Medicaid. He's taking his public assistance $ and going to the casino. And we are also paying for his health care. Nice, huh?
And we are expected to show these irresponsible people respect? What a laugh.
