Lost and then Found: A Gen Xer’s journey of intellectual discovery

Great post

I'm an older Gen X'er myself, but I wasn't much interested in politics in college. Being a math major, I probably wasn't exposed to the indoctrination as much either (math is math). I do remember the low level angst I felt though as I was superficially exposed to left leaning thought and how it conflicted with what I felt was common sense. "Was there something wrong with me?" I thought. Finally in the early 90s, I began listening to and reading the "other side's" view point and just thought "Yes! That's it." If we're not going to be personally responsible for what we do, then eventually someone else will be and our freedom will vanish.
Congratulations on your journey.
