Dunk the Malkins in Scalding Coffee

Mmmm... donuts...

I'm sorry. What were you saying? :)

Michelle, right as usual

''Anti-American fashion designers abroad and at home have mainstreamed and adapted the scarves as generic pro-Palestinian jihad or anti-war statements. Yet many folks out there remain completely oblivious to the apparel’s violent symbolism and anti-Israel overtones. Left-wing bloggers responded with complete scorn, deliberate mischaracterizations of the debate, and then outrage when Dunkin’ Donuts commendably showed sensitivity to the concerns and pulled the ad.'' -Michelle Malkin

And I agree completely
-Miguel

Disagree.

I don't agree that it's a mischaracterization of the debate. Saying that left-wing bloggers respond with scorn and mischaracterizes the debate is typical divisiveness on the part of the right-wing ones. Left-wing ones engage in it too. As for the people who do respond with scorn they do as a matter of fact get the debate and understand that Malkin is making a classic logical fallacy. As for symbolism, that's moot. Again, a double breasted blazer doesn't make someone a member of the mafia and a keffiyeh doesn't make anyone a potential terrorist nor does it symbolize violence as Arabs have been wearing it for a very long time.
