Our Teachers Must Teach, Not Indoctrinate

This is very true. As society continues to specialize and information increases, it is more important that ever that teachers not indoctrinate. Pass along to good side of American culture... sure. But students need to be taught the basics and trained in how to educate themselves, how to reason clearly, and how to think critically. Especially on the artistic side, they need to be taught how to express themselves, not that anything they feel like expressing is equally valid.
