Socialism now reigns with new Bailout

"So Friday, the House will now vote on a bill which has over 400 pages when at first, there was a 3 page outline. The Pork et al is very apparent. So is the Green socialism and even a few tax cuts. The Dow is still plunging in spite of the Senate passing this horror."

The Congress should have worried about the Government being involved in everything when they put Freddie and Fannie in place decades ago.

Since government was already involved though, the government has to do something now.

What the GOP does not realize, however, is that they are not in control; and for whatever they want changed/added to the bill, the Dems will add something also.

What did you think would happen? The GOP keeps dragging this out, and they wonder (duh!) how come the bill has more that they don't like.

BTW, the bill today has more things the House GOP wanted than the first bill. Unfortunately, because GOP things got added, the Dems wanted to add things also. That's what they get to do when they are in control.

This has got to end! Something must be done; I have lost 16.6% of my 401K this week.

Did you see the Dems with W as he signed this bailout? They were yukking it up as they evaded the offal that should have b een dumped on them for their corruption with Raines, Johnson, Gorelik at Fannie and Freddie when W and McCain called out , 'bi-partisanship'. Enough of this. The Dow tanked to 157 pts. Ah socialism. Yes, you and I have lost much in the Markets and I am 70 yrs. old so I cannot win or earn it back unless real free enterprise growth takes place. Obama wants to raise taxes to the 'trillion' level and it will kill small business. I cannot believe any businessman will vote Dem to have their own livelihood killed.

The ailing lions of finance are getting a fresh infusion of cash, with no guarantee of success. Will this lead to socialized medicine engineered by a Democrat Congress and White House in 2009? HillaryCare may be on the way with higher taxes for virtually everyone. Much of the GOP caved in on the bailout bill after enough goodies were added. As long as we can borrow, and borrow, and borrow--the skies the limit.
