Why do taxes seem so bad, but when you see a list like this, it seems down right craptastic?

Some of them, sort of surprised, while others did not. I feel like I am getting nickel and dimed by the cable company. Each month, there seems to be some new tax added on.

It is enough to make you just cry.

We also have the unemployment tax in CA. If you file for unemployment, you have to pay taxes. You opt out when you file and pay at the end or you pay up front. Do we know if this is still out there?

Good list. I notice how on cell phone bills and cable bills, they are listed as "fees." To me they are nickel and dimes sticking it to you!
