Open Letter to Chuck Norris

Why is it not smart to let the government know what it is that the citizens want from our government. Something that they seem to have forgotten on both sides. THEY WORK FOR US! They have ignored us but when the people stood up and let them know they listened. Just look at Immigration. They still try to pass it but every time the people let their voice be heard and they listen. They listened to the bailout the first time but ignored the second time. That is why alot of those were voted out. That is why Chambliss here in Georgia did not get voted back in overwhelming. Now he has a run off. I let him know when he voted for the bail out that he would not get my vote. But now I will vote for him because I do not want Obama to have a majority. There has to be checks and balances.

One more thing. The American People did not find out the truth which is that the Democrats and yes Obama included are responsible for the Financial Crisis and they have benefitted from it. The truth never came out because the main stream media was in the pocket of Obama. I went back and looked and in the early stages of the campaign before he was the nominee he was given hard questions and looked at a little closer. But once he became the nominee he had a free ride right into the White House. So I think it is time that we start reminding our government they work for us.

Our founding fathers were very intelligent and as Thomas Jefferson spoke to us over 200 yrs ago goes along today with what we are dealing with now that Obama has been elected

Some think like this, but I respectfully disagree. I believe it is misguided to select your leaders to represent you in Washington based on how well they match up to your national sentiments insead of on qualification to lead the good people of Georgia.

This never-ending battle to control the federal government by zealots on both sides means local issues get neglected and America risks being a bunch of competing tribes subjugated under a firmly-entrenched bureaucracy and "ruling class." It strengthens the federal government bureacracy instead of destroying it.

Also, there is no magic in quoting old, dead patriots. They would be the first to say it if they were alive today.

Lastly, my letter to Chuck Norris specifically noted his mandate to "move to the center". There was not one mention of it in this reply, this looks like a canned rant. If not, put it back in the can for when we talk about all the things you mention in your reply. I agree with some of them, except the paranoid rantings about government conspiracies and Obama.
