I believe that the conservative approach to the 2nd amendment has two problems. First, if its purpose is to provide a check on a tyrannical federal gov't, then militias and even private citizens should have access to more than just automatic weapons, you will need access to the latest nuclear weapons, jet fighters, and land weapons.

Second, in any brawl you might plan to have with the federal gov't, remember that though your rage is against the gov't, your immediate target would be our Marines and Soldiers.

Those are the problems I see with your position. Isn't your real issue that you are not currently active duty? After all, it is the active duty troops who get to use the most advanced weapons.

The Waco incident does show us the problems we get when the gov't acts with impunity. The Iraq invasion is another such example.

This count is admittedly a lowball figure because of the sources they use.

We may call this moonbat an enemy of the state but, unlike Cuba we don't put them in prison after a mock trial and execute them.

I saw this critter on The O'Reilly Factor last month. She sat there in a liberal-induced daze and more-or-less mindlessly droned out her talking points, dodging O'Reilly's questions all the way. This, I believe, fits your definition of the archtypical "moonbat". I remember it because I couldn't understand at first why O'Reilly was putting up with it. Then I realized that he was simply allowing her to show herself for what she actually was. She did that!

BTW: She picked an interesting new name. In mythology, Medea was the princess who betrayed her family and country to give stud/hero Jason and his band of pirates their national treasure- The Golden Fleece! Then, when he predictably used and abandoned her afterward, she murdered her own children (like Andrea Yates!) and burned down the palace. There's a feminist icon for you!!

And to think that she claims American citizenship.
