remorse, so that we will see a backlash in 2010, followed perhaps an election like 1980 (if we will nominate a Reagan-like candidate). Maybe my head is in the sand, but I do believe there was a significant percentage of voters who bought the hope-n-change message (when posed against the alternative of McCain, who offered basically nothing) who now are saying, "Dear Lord, what have I done?!"

I don't see the repeal of the 22nd amendment in our lifetimes. At the same time, there is a large block of cable-beer-sex voters who are being fed and clothed by this socialist trend, and he may actually secure the necessary dependents to get him re-elected.
