Health Insurance 'Crisis' Myth

Excellent post. Good job. People invest a lot of time, energy, and money to train medical professionals; to research preventative care, treatments, and cures; to build care facilities; to produce medical equipment. Shouldn't those people have the same right as anyone else to negotiate the compensation for their services, with minimal government interference?

There simply is no right to health insurance, and people should be free to choose to be uninsured. If we exercise other freedoms, like freedom of association and property rights, it should not be a problem for us if someone decides to live an unhealthy life and to opt out of buying insurance.
