What Laws?

Hey Dave, I live in Raleigh as well. I was wondering if you noticed how Wilmington NC just banned drinking on the beach, but not because of crazy drunks, but because of the wake of trash left behind by July 4th revelers. Am I to understand that because one weekend too much of a mess was made so that sipping a cold one is now illegal for even those of us that care about the appearance of our beaches? Perhaps if littering was enforced this wouldn't be a problem. (or an even grander idea, if parents took more responsibility for raising lazy slobs this wouldn't happen) I happen to think that there are darker forces at work here backed by the liberals and the A.L.E., but that is another story.
