Morality, integrity, law breaking, a double standard?

My thoughts keep returning the the Spitzer teenage girls. How can they now return to school? One can imagine how vicious the gossip would be. Their lives will bear a permanent mark regardless what happens to the former governor from New York. Like Bill Clinton, Eliot Spitzer thought nothing of his wife, family, oath, or honor. Certainly there is a double standard, and its not limited to the press. Liberal feminist organizations like NOW only go after conservatives (like Clarence Thomas) while remaining dead silent when Bill Clinton, Spitzer, and other supporters get into personal trouble. New York will recover and perhaps inherit a fine man to serve the remainder of Spitzer's term. The Democrats have bigger fish to fry this year. And the press will move on to the next breaking news. But my prayers will still go out to these teenagers. Blessings, John
