An Angry Black Republican

The Republicans did everything they could to lose this election. People can blame the media all they want. The media, in my lifetime, has never been on the side of the GOP. People can blame corruption. The difference between the two parties is not who is involved in the most corruption it is what happens when they are found out. The republicans are out of office and the Democrats praise theirs as victims of human frailty and make martyrs and heroes out of them.

What we need in the GOP is new faces. I am considered a conservative. I settle in somewhere to the right of the President and to the left of Pat Buchanan. My basic ideology is right versus wrong. Somewhere along the road the Republicans in office gave up on this. They had the chance to take advantage of their control and make a major difference. Instead we are going to have to deal with continuous bickering and a return to gridlock. I don't see anything of value being achieved in the next few years. Ignorance has trumped ideas. Bluster replaces coherency. Socialism rules the day.
