Obvious and true. The left gets a free pass in nearly every venue. That includes college campuses where, unfortunately, students have to fear for their grades if they take a principled stand against the liberal tide.

Inconveniently, conservatives tend to be quiet, modest, unassuming sorts who just want everyone to get along without too much fuss. For every Ann Coulter there are a thousand conservatives who, while they believe that abortion is wrong, wouldn't think of putting a bumper sticker to that effect on their car. Etc.

We need activist conservatives, and it seems they'll have to come from the on-campus set.
