You missed Pragmatism.
Like, let's be pragmatic about our involvement in Iraq.
Fact: we lost fewer soldiers in the military operations, and far more in 'policing the peace' after hostilities were over.
The pragmatist might say, "Win the war, then leave, saying 'do the right things or we'll be back". And then GO back, again, and again until they get the message and 'do the right things'. Even if we had to repeat this five or six times, we would have had fewer casualties, and seen a smaller financial cost.
Pragmatism:practical approach to problems. If it works, do it.
