Comment on: Letters from an Old Whig

Romney's Critics

2 Comments

Hi Old Whig

I don't like Romney OR McCain.
Romney has a much better chance of being elected due to his looks & personality because many people make their choices on who they think looks the best.
I think they are both RINOs.
AND: They are both known to be anti-gun.

This is the reason MSM favors McCain.
He is a "Straw Man" they can destroy at will.

McCain/Feingold, Amnesty, and this;

makes McCain unelectable.

Thanks for visiting. I'm sure you are used to the usual "if a candidate looks good he must be a phony." Aren't we all.

Those who know Mr. Romney and those who have met him say that he is the genuine article. I live here in Utah where Mr. Romney helped to pull the Olympic Games out of the toilet. I never met him myself, but the people I know who did all say the same thing: the guy has a commanding presence and he is absolutely real.

The Flip-flopper label doesn't stick to him. John Kerry was a flip-flopper because he changed his position back and forth several times depending on his audience. Mr. Romney's positions may have changed some politically, but not personally. If anything, his positions have shifted more to the right over time, but that is very different than what John Kerry did.
