New Mexico Watchdog’s story late last week about the controversial drug sweep that ticked off patrons at the Taos Ski Valley — including former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson — has prompted an editorial cartoon.

Mike Shelton of the Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity and offers this take on the U.S. Forest Service concentrating on New Mexico — presumably because its law enforcement officers don’t have to spend much time in Colorado since the Rocky Mountain State legalized marijuana:
