LINCOLN, Neb. – Democratic Senate nominee Dave Domina bills himself as a champion of the little guy, but his financial disclosure shows he’s gotten fabulously wealthy in the process.
Domina is one of the most prominent trial lawyers in the state and worth between $20 million and $82 million, according to the financial disclosure form he submitted to the secretary of the U.S. Senate.
His net worth could be much higher, since he valued two farms owned by his spouse or dependent at “over $1 million,” and candidates aren’t required to include residences. It’s difficult to pinpoint his precise net worth, since candidates report their assets, salary and liabilities in broad ranges, such as $250,000 to $500,000. Or “over $50 million.”
