I listened to all of the Dr Laura comments when a well-spoken black woman called in to her talkshow. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yY0ccH7Hchw ) Dr Laura only stated facts about the "entertainment" media's use of the divisive and hateful "n" word when giving her answer to the woman's question. Yet, here in the above utube, Sharpton (to use the term "reverend" implies respect--Sharpon has never earned any respect) blasts Dr Laura for simply stating the facts. It is a sad truth that Sharpton's daily duty is to incite polarization of blacks and whites. Very sad.

I could not read the article on snopes. It kept sending me to the dell search page AFTER it had loaded. Snopes is a screaming liberal site that distorts truth to fit their agenda so I find it interesting that it would not stay up long enough to read the whole thing. I had to google it and read it elsewhere.

He could careless about what's good for the black community.? Al Sharpton only cares about Al Sharpton. Bill Cosby is a thousand times better Civil Rights and Community Leader, than Al Sharpton.

In the George Strait movie "Pure Country" George declared that sometimes he feels like a "dancing chicken" when performing on stage. The very moment I heard this offered I thought about all the hyphenated-Americans who have ever cast a vote for any Democraphead. .

They're all just a bunch of "dancing chickens" being handled by the "White Massars" who run the DNC and tell these "dancing chickens" when to start hopping and how high to hop!! LOL!!!

I remember many years ago after I was awarded a home improvement job for one of the local NAACP leaders in our community. I thought a lot of this man and felt I needed to get one thing clear before I accepted this job. I told him I really did appreciate the work, but wondered why perhaps he didn't prefer to award this opportunity to some of the local black contractors.

To which he didn't hesitate for even a moment...."Heck no, I wouldn't trust any of those n....rs. to build a bathroom lavatory!"

I hate that it has come to this in America, so many folks seem to place their trust in folks, not for the content of their character, but solely for the color of their skin.

The liberals and progressives have done themselves a tremendous disfavor by accepting without questions the utterings of anyone claiming kinship. Discrimination is not a bad thing when applied appropriately--if one wishes to promote quality within the ranks. The Rev Sharpton should have been isolated long ago into the radical fringe of racialists.

Why does Rev. Crown Heights Tawana Brawley Sharpton have the slightest credibility? Why does anyone care what he says or thinks? Why aren't all the movements & organizations associated with him, including the Democratic Party that treated him like a serious possible PotUS nominee in 2000, discredited ipso facto?

He exemplifies the cabal of so-called "civil rights" organizations & "leaders" who devolved long ago (when de jure racial discrimination ended) into the collection of thugs, opportunists, quota theorists, and intimidation specialists I call "the Race Racket."

Guess the moderator and Sharpton have an aversion to hearing the truth. The caller was absolutely right in his analysis. Instead of Sharpton and other purported "Cilil Rights leaders" (self appointed I might add) they should be encouraging the black community to start taking responsibility for their lives and not blame society. Give them a hand up--not up the hand outs which is all Sharton and his ilk are doing.
