Right on Lyle.... I think Dan is a confused liberal Democrat...YES the NRA bugs ya with a bunch of mail wanting money (for a good cause)... but they are the ones along with Gun Owners of America (GOA) that allows us to KEEP our guns, at least for now anyhow... better sign up immediately or run the risk of losing your rights to own them..

How surprising, they normally love to fill your mailbox with letters. I do not believe that there is any such current certification titled Small Arms Instructor. If there were, it still would require more follow-up than once in 20 years to keep it current. Many previous certifications are not adequate for most current state carry-law training requirements. Oh, and you might want to thank that civil rights organization known as the NRA. They are often the main reason that most states now have shall-issue carry laws. Lyle

wow, these guys are something else.......
i was a member of the NRA for over 20 yrs... i took almost every firearms training class they ever offered, i wanted to be a good member... then i relocated to another state, and my job had me on the road 25 days each month... i forgot to renew my membership, and one thing led to another, and years passed... i kept getting mailings to renew, but never did. Nine years later, I was relocated again. this time, i was in an office all day, and had plenty of time... i wrote the NRA to ask for a copy of my SMALL ARMS INSTRUCTORS CERTIFICATE to help attain my Concealed Weapons Permit from the State government... nothing came, i wrote again, then again.... in seven months, i wrote 6 letters to the NRA... then, out of frustration, i wrote Wayne LaPierre... NOTHING.... that was over 5 years ago.... they can kiss my sweety arm-pit if they think i'll ever renew my membership again.... be careful people, it's a money pit..... oh, i got my CWP, thanks to the good people of SC.........
