Lawsuit forces Basketball Town to close

Basketball Town was forced to close because it could not afford the legal fees required to fight a lawsuit brought by a guest at a child's birthday party hosted at the facility. Part of the IamLawsuitAbuse.org campaign.

That is one of the saddest stories I've heard. I don't see how these businesses are losing these cases. Other than our society now has an entitlement mindset. Talking about frivolous lawsuits in a paralegal class, one guy said yes they should sue because the businesses have the money. Right and wrong doesn't matter, just that they have money and he wants it.

One person, with one lawyer and one liberal judge can do more harm than one can possibly imagine. And lawyers take these cases, and we are supposed to respect that profession. Reminds me of why lawyer jokes are so prevalent, because they are based in truth.
