During a roundtable discussion last week on "Labor, the Left, Progressives and the Obama Administration" (it's interesting that when conservatives tie these things together, we're called fear mongers and conspiracy theorists, but I digress), Liz Shuler of the AFL-CIO stresses that "young people can't make it on their own" and calls for Big Labor to step up its attempts to garner leftist support among young students. 

The panel jokes that conservative talker Glenn Beck will undoubtedly object to unions advanging their "social justice" message using younger generations. 

Meanwhile, the rest of us are not laughing.
