I will vote for Perry. Kay Bailey has demurely joined the passive congressmen who are reluctant to oppose Obama's change. And, by giving up her senatoral seat, will leave a seat open which could be taken by a dem.
She should have done better where she was, and I will not give her the chance to tuck Texas into the Fed. fold.

The government isn't greater than free market capitalism. Our politicians have more control over capitalism than is healthy. They believe repeated government intervention is helpful when it's actually a hindrance. Think of it like a sprinkler and a garden:

Capitalism is the high-powered sprinkler which feeds the garden. Government is merely the valve which keeps it pointed in the right direction. It's a necessary device, but it's not the mechanism spraying out the nutrients which keep the garden green.

When you overuse the valve, and interfere with the natural cycle of the sprinkler, all patches of the garden don't get fed. Overregulation prevents the sprinkler from completing its rotation, just like excessive government...

These politicians all work together. They always know exactly how many votes they need to pass any bill and line up their votes accordingly. They also know which districts are on the edge of losing to a Republican or Independent and they allow that candidate to vote against the bill so publicly it looks like the candidate is representing the constituents when in reality they do not. Trillions of dollars and their futures are at stake and they are not going to give it up just to save our country from marxism or even a dictatorship!

Not all of congress wants this, in fact not all dems want it in congress, but it seems NONE OF THEM ARE BRAVE ENOUGH, OR HONERABLE ENOUGH< OR PATRIOTIC ENOUGH TO SPILL THE BEANS TO AMERICA , they need to expose whats really been going on behind those DOORS in the congress and the white house, IF THEY WOULD, WE THE PEOPLE WOULD DO THE REST AND RUN OBAMA AND POLOSI AND THE REST OUR NOW. I served in the army, there are alot of good officers and alot of bad ones as well.Why would the president appoint a new commander and then listen to an ex commander who FALED WHILE IT WAS IN HIS COMMAND, it makes no sense at all.Its like Obama and his PALS are trying to destroy this country in every way possible, and no one is stopping him. I have a news flash though, when he bankrupts the country and tries to instatute MARSHALL LAW he will be met with a force far greater then ever imagined, and all involved will be removed and jailed and NONE IN ANY HOUSE OF CONGRESS WILL SERVIVE , its time they EXPOSD AND STOPPED THIS ALL AND FORCE OBAMA AND POLOSI AND OTHERS FROM OFFICE, I cant believe they dont have the goods...

Gov. Perry understands a sea change is happening in the minds of millions of Americans owing to what happened when the Major Muslim Murderer unleashed his crimes.

Because it is clear what Obama is and is doing, Gov. Perry is reminding Texans and all Americans that being involved and confronting the crazed Fed. Govt. is survival 101 for America.

It's a smart behavior by the Governor as he seeks his next reelection.

If the Federal Govt. could allow a terrorist to be hidden in the military medical corps, they can only be yoked into proper governance by an inflamed and involved citizenry.

Ft. Hood is a clarion call to all Americans from deep in the heart of Texas.

My favorite t-shirt EVER is the one I have that reads McGovern/Eagleton from '72

The Friedman is probably better. With McGovern/Eagleton they needed two guys to put a loser and a nut job on a ticket.

Friedman takes care of both all by himself......

Friedman's probably got a nice shirt in store for '10. I'm sure it will be just as colorful.
