U.S. Customs and Border Protection has a new boat that will be used to patrol the Detroit River, a gateway for illegal drug smuggling. It will be named after slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was killed in December 2010 by drug cartel bandits carrying weapons from Operation Fast and Furious.
"Today is the day that a Border Patrol Vessel will be christen in my sons Honor, the Brian Terry Vessel," Brian Terry's mother, Josephine, posted on Facebook. "Thank you Border Patrol. This vessel will Patrol the waters of Michigan, where Brian grew up. VERY PROUD MOM."
