Thursday IRS Commissioner of the Small Business and Self-Employed Division Faris Fink will testify on Capitol Hill about lavish conference spending and overall IRS waste of taxpayer funds. But who exactly is Faris Fink? You can just call him Spock.
The kicker? Fink is in charge of overseeing and policing against any kind of abuse of taxpayer funds, yet starred as a main character in an IRS Star Trek video that was prepared for a $4.1 million conference. As a reminder, the IRS spent $50,000 producing two videos: a Star Trek parody video and another featuring IRS employees doing the cupid shuffle.
