Police were called to the Tribeca Film Festival over the weekend as anti-fracking activists blocked farmers from seeing a film about their lives. Some farmers left their homes as early as 4:30 a.m. to attend the new film Gasland 2 in New York City, yet were denied access when they arrived. Despite holding tickets to Gasland 2 (Gasland 1 has been debunked by FrackNation, a film by Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer), farmers were denied entry. Why? Because they dared to ask Director Josh Fox and Yoko Ono questions when they were posing for the cameras on the red carpet.

"The Tribeca Film Festival likes to position itself as edgy but wants to quash a couple of farmers and give the red carpet to Yoko Ono and millionaire anti fracking activists," McAleer wrote in an email.

As a reminder, Josh Fox has repeatedly dodged questions about the misleading and flat out false claims made in his "documentaries" about fracking.

McAleer has repeatedly challenged Fox to debate the issue of Fracking. Fox has refused.
