If you missed it yesterday, twice-failed presidential candidate and grossly out of touch dinosaur John McCain slammed Rand Paul's filibuster. Today in the friendly Huffington Post, he's doubling down on his comments and making really intellectually grounded constitutional arguments against those questioning the White House about the assassination of Americans on U.S. soil by calling them, "wacko birds." McCain also took the time to insult the people who voted for Senators like Paul and Texas' Ted Cruz.
"They were elected, nobody believes that there was a corrupt election, anything else," McCain said. "But I also think that when, you know, it's always the wacko birds on right and left that get the media megaphone."
And the best part? McCain still thinks he's the type of Republican people like while ignoring Paul's vast reach to far-left and far-right audiences worldwide on the floor of the Senate Wednesday.
"I think it can be harmful if there is a belief among the American people that those people are reflective of the views of the majority of Republicans. They're not," he continued.
Arizona has a slew of very nice retirement communities, I suggest McCain visit one soon.
