ABC's Jake Tapper asked White House Press Secretary yesterday if Teamster Union President Jimmy Hoffa's comments about tea party "sons of bitc*hes" over the weekend were the new normal rhetoric going into the 2012 campaign. As usual, Carney didn't answer the question and said Hoffa speaks for himself and the AFL-CIO, which is funny considering Obama has pledged over and over again to stand with unions over taxpayers and other workers, as he did during a union rally in Detroit on Labor Day. Also, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka is a regualar guest at the White House.
