Harry Reid: Strongly Opposed to Illegal Immigration?

As Harry Reid gets ready for a vote on amnesty, I mean, the "DREAM Act," he may want to change what his website says about his views on illegal immigration, simply because they no longer appear to be true.

"While I am strongly opposed to illegal immigration and believe that our immigration laws should be strictly enforced, there is near-universal agreement that our system is broken and in need of reform."

By passing the DREAM Act, Congress will be rewarding illegal behavior with U.S. citizenship. That doesn't sound like a strong opposition to illegal immigration to me Mr. Reid. The consequence for unlawful entry according to the U.S. law is a penalty, not a reward.
