Raese has maintained a solid lead over Manchin in the polls in the West Virginia Senate race, and all of a sudden, Manchin flip-flops
on the Employee Free Choice Act:
I've said publicly that ... we must retain the secrecy of the ballot. It's your vote, and only you should have knowledge of how you do that... the government has no right to be involved in contractual disputes between an organizing body and the company they are working with.
That was in an interview with the Sunday News-Register; contrast it with the letter he signed
to Reid and McConnell in June of 2007, in which he asked the legislators to support EFCA.
