So you'll have no objection
Vlad, Axe, when Republicans take back over and start giving out government contracts to their friends? Deals be deals, as you've said.
Me- You mean like Bush did with Haliburton? Seems you guys are the ones with the double standard.
Sestak clearlywould have been qualified to be Navy Secretary, and he would have had to have been confirmed by Congress... So I guess I'm having a hard time seeing how this was a "bribe". Obama, as leader of his party, had an idea of how he wanted his team deployed. Sestak went his own way.
Personally, I think Obama never should have gotten behind Specter, and Specter should have become an independent...
But the real problem is, you guys know...

is a crime and needs to be investigated and dealt with - period!
If a republican offered him the bribe, that republican must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, I don't care how high we have to go, we have to have accountability - for out country. :?)
The same accountability must apply to democrats.
Whoever was behind this must be ferreted out and held accountable, I don't care how high we have to go. That is only fair for our country. It isn't about partisan politics, it is about fidelity in our government and our leadership, we can't have this flagrant back door attempts to control and election.
It's illegal and wrong. Republican, Democrat, doesn't matter to me, we have to pursue this and...

A crime was committed here. Regardless of what people think of Sestak, he was offered a bribe by someone in this regime - possibly even the president himself.
The dems follow their main directive: Always attack the victim. Demonize them until credibility is lost.

in my Navy from what I read, curious to know why. That he was offered a bribe to drop out needs to be investigated to the fullest and if it leads to the O he should be impeached and run out of office straight to a federal prison.
The corruption up there is the worst I have ever seen and it will only get worse the longer this commieclown is allowed to infest the WH.
I hope this will do the trick, my grandkids are counting on it.

by Toomey, I'm guessing. And, for me, the stunned, shell-shocked-betrayed-sold out look of,"OMG..I've been a senator for 700-years...There is no ME unless I'm senator..!" look on Arlen Darlin's face Tuesday night was worth EVEN chancing Joe "War Hero" in the senate.
Arlen, Boyo, there's a smile on my face and a song in my heart, you sleaze bucket.

Sestak will probably beat Pat "Club for Greed" Toomey. You fellas were all geared up to beat Spectre, and the Dems beat you to the punch by nominating Sestak, a war hero that wouldn't let Toomey carry his bag.

Your comment is 95% accurate.
"This guy wants to be a Senator so bad he would turn in his momma to win this election!"
When I worked for him in the Navy, he openly admitted that he had aspirations for the oval office. Senator is just a stepping stone towards that goal. And his record of 'no-show' voting is an indication that he's trying to remain non-committal on as many issues as possible. My guess is that he wants to be obama's running mate in 2012.
You are 100% accurate though in your assessment of him being a nut. joe sestak cares about one thing only and that is joe sestak.

I think it is pretty obvious of course that the white house offered Sestak a job, but is it against the law? I am sure by now we know that the White House has some real smart playes in it. They could have hinted about a job to Sestak or offered him a job without mentioning dropping out of the race which I believe is legal if unethical.
The Republicans should make great hay of this in campaign commercials, but I wonder if grand jurys and the like won;t be a waste of time.

First off, let me say again that I have never known a Marine as stupid as you, so I think you're just another phony claiming to have served.
Second, Rezko and Blagojevich have NOTHING to do with central Pennsylvania. You may not like it that a Democrat won the primary and will most likely win the fall election, but making up still more lies to suit your own predilections doesn't change the facts.

I know this will come as a surprise to a lot of you, but when you make deals - in business or in politics - you ask for favors in exchange for your own favors.

Yea...yea...
I don't know what type of businessman you are...
And I don't know what your expertise is in politics...
But the last time I looked, Tony Rezko (a businessman and friend of Obama's) is in prison for making deals and exchanging favors, as you put it.
And politician, Rod Blagojevich (another colleague of "golden boy") is on his way...
I know this might come as a surprise to you...but there are some practices you can engage in...

Unfortunately, as clear as your post is with respect to the law and the charge, now acknowledged by Sestak, that he was offered a job with the Obama administration if he quit his bid for the Senate, nothing will come of it.
_______________________________________________
Have you seen this nut, Sestak? Dude! They were offering him the Secretary of the Navy (and who knows what type of monetary...ahem..."bonus") and he STILL wouldn't back out! Then, fearing that even BEING OFFERED the bribe, he goes out and breaks the code of WH "Omerta" by TELLING IT! This guy wants to be a Senator so bad he would turn in his momma to win this election! If he was going to drop out,...

That's another reason we need to work to get the majority and to DEMAND justice. The Republicans have to go after these thugs, investigate, indict and incarcerate and preferably throw the keys away.
I don't know why the Republicans just let these
criminal acts slide. I think I am madder at the
wimps running the RNC and the GOP establishment politicians in Congress than I am at the DemonRATS. RATS are what they are, RATS! You expect nothing else from them. There are only a handful of Republicans that I would want to keep, Those that stand with us. I HATE this bogus 'comity ' baloney..I want them to stand up to them and give no quarter. I am MAD because they didn't walk out of the Congress when Calderone insulted...

And his May 13th interrogation of Eric "No. I haven't had the chance to read the bill" Holder?
Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., the ranking Republican on the House Oversight Committee, has compiled a video of Rep. Joe Sestak’s accusation that the White House offered him a job to get out of the Senate primary. It is pretty dramatic, and it underscores, not only the challenge Sestak will face in the Penn. Senate race, but Issa is sending the message loud & clear that he intends to 1.Issue charges of House Ethic violations against Sestak, and 2. Call for the seating of an independent council and grand jury investigation of the White House.
I realize that many Americans are sceptical that anything will be done by politicians to...
