A Dr. Seuss solution to naturally caused cyclic climate fluctuations. As I type I am insulated against the 25 deg. temps outside in the "overheated" winter. Gotta go put the antlers back on the Jeep and gallop off to deliver goodies.

AGW is a farce on its face as the climategate emails prove. Spending billions to reduce man made CO2 is utter insanity. A relative small amount spent on a man made "volcano" event would reduce the earth's temperature if there ever was an era of AGW.

A reasonable response to impending doom is not any liberal's idea of what must be done. Watermelons, green on the outside red inside, will use any excuse to increase government and reduce liberty.

BTW: Running a hose up big Al's tailpipe does seem like a really good idea.

Although this idea sounds crazy, there is evidence that supports it. For a long time now, a phenomenon called "Global dimming" has been reasonably well described - particulate matter in the atmosphere will deflect sunlight. A study in the Maldives showed it was significant, possibly even more of a factor than warming from greenhouse gasses. Second, if there is even a possibility that this works, it completely undermines the AGW hysteria. Why cripple the world's economy and redistribute wealth to corrupt governments like that of Bolivia or almost any country in Africa, etc. when you could cool the planet for under a billion? Another knife in the heart of the AGW fraud, IMO.

I read years ago about a river in FL that snaked back and forth and was marshy, in effort to generate a more adequate S. Fl water supply the corps of engineers straitened the river out, this caused a huge imbalance in nature not only producing less water, but eco damage as well. Needless to say the river has been returned to it's natural path.

I also saw first hand a farmer who tried to bank up his farm so he wouldn't lose his crop in the event of a flood, Hurricanes 04' this idea backfired - he trapped the water IN his farmland, the flow was too slow going out to save his crop.

Mother nature has repeatedly taught us that she will fix herself if left alone, yet we never seem to get the message.

How about a giant ceiling fan? I suppose if I smoke enough dope I could come up with an even "better" idea!

Already discussed this? Adding pollutants to the atmosphere is a very bad idea. Many considerations to be considered. Fallout? What goes up... Besides this is a physical and technically impossible task. So in the end it is just more mental masturbation.

Let's spew more stuff into the atmosphere and hope for the best?
